Spain isn’t well known for great Cabernet but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. This is quite reminiscent of top-flight Knights Valley Cab but it’s not priced that way.

“Some savory tobacco-leaf, dried-herb and bark character to the cassis and blackberries. Quite a full-bodied red with some dried red capsicum, cured meat and cassis on the palate, framed by tight and creamy tannins.”- James Suckling

Dark cherry red colour with garnet highlights. Intensely fruity (blueberries, cassis) with delicate spicy (black pepper) and balsamic notes. A balanced and nicely structured palate with ripe tannins well rounded by ageing in excellent oak.

A legacy built through the efforts of five generations. Familia Torres founded its winery in Vilafranca del Penedès in 1870, 150 years ago, but its roots in the wine-growing traditions of Penedès date back to the 16th century.
