Description
Terroir
South-east-oriented plots on limestone, granite and sand-sand clay soils.
Vinification
The maceration of partially desegged grapes (for the manually harvested part) lasts about 13 days in a stainless steel tank for optimal extraction of the phenolic material which will bring a true consistency to the wine. The ageing of more than 6 months on fine lees in the absence of oxygen nourishes, complicates and stabilizes the wine by providing it with this fruity but also spicy and mineral originality. Strict control of temperatures during alcoholic fermentation in order to preserve the aromatic and olfactory specificities of wine. (The aim is to preserve the elegance and finesse of Fruit and Gouleyant while searching for structure and material).
Tasting
This cuvée has a magnificent ruby dress with purple shades. The nose offers superb intensity, gourmet aromas of black fruit, cherries and raspberries. The mouth is lively, the tannins are very silky, the fruity flavors bring a lot of roundness and charm, for a whole in fruit and in voluptuousness.
