Blackberry, gravel, crushed rocks, incense, licorice and mocha saturate the palate. A dollop of Alicante in the blend works so well here. This full-bodied, opulent red is one of the most distinctive wines being made in Tuscany. It spent 16 months in used tonneaux and barriques.” – Antonio Galloni
