Description
This is always one of the most popular wines in the province and it’s easy to see why. This consistently offers rich, juicy fruit, with layers of flavour and it does this at a terrific price.
“Aromas of blackberries, brambleberries, tobacco, oyster shell and black olive. It’s medium-to full-bodied with sleek, fine tannins. Succulent and juicy with layers of fresh, ripe fruit. Delicious.”
-James Suckling
Sourced from Bosca’s east-facing La Linda vineyard in Lujan de Cuyo- Maipo. Vines average 50 years and sit at an elevation of 960 meters. Soils here are well-drained and shallow based with a mix of limestone and silt.
Familia Arizu has been working in the national wine-producing industry for over 100 years. Currently led by its third and fourth generation, Bodega Luigi Bosca is one of the few wine-producing places that remain in the hands of the founding family throughout the decades, and has become the paradigm of the national wine.
