In Montalcino’s southwest, the Collelceto estate now goes by the name of fourth generation owner Elia Palazzesi. The property’s seven hectares of vineyard stretch over gentle slopes between 130 to 180 metres high on clay loam rich in pebbles. Youthful and fragrant, the 2019 flaunts subtle wood notes of charred herbs with forest shrub and mushrooms. Pretty strawberry and blackcurrant adorn the pure-fruited palate.
