Cazal Viel Rouge
Cazal Viel has many sides to it. It might be the fact it’s surrounded on all sides. By mountains and gorges. This leads to a unique climate, which over the years has created a unique soil which in turn grows unique vines that grow the grapes in this Syrah Grenache. One estate, two grapes, and a blend that was meant to be.
The delicious red fruits, cherry and strawberry, are the first things you’ll notice. Some mention citrus, we don’t get it, but we’re not always right.
It’s not like the other reds and likes lighter foods. Pastas, lean fish, or a big bowl of salted popcorn.
