Our PHILOSOPHY

WINE WITH A CONSCIENCE, WINE WITH HEART, WINE WITH CHARACTER.

At Bruliam Wines, our passion for wine and family imbues everything we do. Every bottle pays tribute to our lifelong, crazy love affair with wine and each other. We think that wine is elemental – elemental to a day well savored and a life well-lived.

Working with the best wine growers in California, Bruliam Wines is deeply committed to their fruit.  Each vineyard expresses the unique terroir of its microclimate and the stamp of the farming team.  Our hand harvested* and hand sorted grapes showcase the range of California pinot noir.  And so it is with this understanding that we promise you that each bottle of Bruliam Wines is something really, really special and utterly delicious.

“Because I work with the best grape growers in California, I am deeply committed to their fruit. Our relationship is a sacred pact. In exchange for access to their fruit, I promise my grower-partners that my wines will be expressive of their vineyard, reflective of their farming, and celebrate our partnership.” – Kerith Overstreet, Winemaker

AN UNFORGETTABLE TASTE OF PINOT NOIR AWAITS.

Typecast as “The Heartbreak Grape,” pinot noir is also the most malleable, expressive, and beguiling of classic French varietals. We bring you the best pinot noir; we are being unbiased here. Pinot seduces with ethereal aromatics that range from perfumed violets to candied berry to spice and earth.

Bruliam Ferrington Vineyard 2024 Pinot Noir

The rich hue of the ’24 Ferrington arrests your senses before you even swirl. But when you do, aromas of spiced cranberry compote studded with star anise and cinnamon bark waft from the glass. The full-bodied entry gives way to a smooth finish that marries the sweetness of French oak with lively acidity. Exceptionally balanced, this serious pinot is seriously delicious.

Bruliam Nightwing Vineyard 2024 Pinot Noir

My third vintage from this windy, high elevation site proffers raspberry cordial, perfumed floral notes, and hibiscus tea. A rich entry leads to mouth-coating fullness bursting with a berry mélange. The ’24 vintage showcases supple yet structured tannins highlighting the age-worthy potential of this Petaluma Gap showstopper. With every year of maturity, this wine gains depth and complexity.

Bruliam Rockpile Vineyard 2023 Zinfandel

Dense and lush with black and blue fruit, star anise, nutmeg, and milk chocolate, the 2023 RP zin is full-bodied and built to age. The palate displays mouth-coating weight with rich fruit, chewy tannins, and a long finish. With a frisson of acidity to excite your salivary glands, this zin is ready to partner with a juicy sirloin or a silky bowl of Bolognese. Cellar-worthy and sure to be a cold weather favorite.

Bruliam Torrey Hill 2023 Vineyard Pinot Noir

This is a relax on your porch, exhale with friends, and “stay for a while” kind of pinot noir. Ethereal and lovely, with notes of cranberries, tart and black cherries, nutmeg, and sweet cinnamon, she’s a juicy, yummy, classic ringer for her Russian River Valley pedigree. A wino friend suggested this pinot will shine alongside pizza with spicy sausage. Cheers to pizza & pinot any day of the week.
