“Santa Ema began planting its Cerro Blanco vineyards in the Pirque area around 2010, at the foot of the first Andean foothills between 700 and 1,000 metres above sea level. This 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from selected vineyards at approximately 850 metres elevation and is a pure expression of Andean Cabernet. Rich fruit aromas combine with generous herbal notes, while the palate delivers ripe red fruit flavours supported by fine, firm tannins. The persistent finish recalls fresh mountain herbs, making this a clear expression of high-altitude Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon.” – Patricio Tapia, Descorchados
