Description
Possessioni is a full-bodied, fruity wine, made with Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara and a small percentage of Sangiovese, grown on estates in memory of the family’s Tuscan origins.
Grape varieties – Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara (Serego Alighieri clone), Sangiovese.
Tasting notes
Look – lively, ruby red.
Nose – typical cherry aromas, with a slight touch of liquorice.
Palate – well-structured with good acidity and intense aromas of ripe cherries. Long finish with hints of resinated wood.
Food pairing – Elegant wine suitable for the whole meal. Particularly good with red meat and moderately aged cheeses.
Serving temperature – 18° C
Alcoholic content – 13% vol.
Storage life – 8-10 years
