93 Points Wine Spectator
This is always fantastic and it seems to just keep getting better. You don’t often find Northern Rhone wines at this price point and certainly not of this quality. Don’t miss it.
“Boasts beautifully pure fruit, with black and red berry flavors layered with sweet licorice, giving way to warm earth and wet stone. Reveals white pepper, olive tapenade, dried thyme and sanguine undertones, which build toward the persistent finish.” – Wine Spectator

Appearance: Very intense purplish red
Nose: Red fruits, blackcurrant and raspberry, followed by violet aromas

The history of the Chapoutier family stretches back to the early nineteenth century when current owner Michel Chapoutier’s great-, great-, great-grandfather Marius purchased an estate and some vineyards in the now famous village of Tain l’Hermitage in the Northern Rhône Valley. Marius Chapoutier made history in the region when he became the first grape grower there to vinify his own fruit.
