Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon

90 Points Natalie MacLean (2016)

“This full-bodied Californian red wine is made from the classic Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Aromas of cassis, black briar, smoke, toast, blackberry liqueur. The concentration and richness show its Paso Robles pedigree. Opaque ruby in the glass. Good structure. Long finish. Decant 1 hour and pair with a rare steak.”

-Natalie MacLean

Liberty School wines are made in a traditional style. Fruit-driven, they are crafted to reflect true varietal character. The wines are barrel-aged, employing very little new oak. Oak is used as a building component rather than a flavouring agent.

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Petite Sirah
