Aglianico is often referred to as “the Barolo of the South.” It’s an apt description, as both tend to be highly structured, long lived wines that offer stunning complexity. Great Aglianico also tends to be rather pricey, which is why we were so pleased to find this. It’s a great introduction to the grape that doesn’t break the bank.
