94 pts Wine Spectator & Robert Parker
This is always terrific and this vintage is no exception. This is pure class and it’s going to evolve beautifully. Approachable now but we recommend decanting for an hour or two before drinking.
“The dense structure sets the pace for this red, with cherry, raspberry, mint and tar flavors that are appealing and expressive. Reveals rose hip, orange peel and earth details as this winds down on the long, expansive aftertaste.” – Wine Enthusiast
It is ruby red with garnet undertones, and an intense, persistent aroma of red fruits, marasca cherries, leather, spices and vanilla. The texture is structured and full-bodied, with excellent freshness and balance.
