“El Pasador de Oro’s Gran Reserva is a Guatemalan rum made from sugarcane honey, when the freshly pressed sugarcane juice is warmed slowly until the water evaporates, and is fermented with natural pineapple yeast for several days. After rums of various ages were blended together, this expression was rested in Cognac casks in France for 6 months.
Baking spices, namely cinnamon, accompanied by bitter dark chocolate, exotic fruit sweetness, raisins and a hint of dark liquorice and orange peel on the finish.”
