There’s a lot to like about the new vintage of Babich Sauv Blanc and that certainly includes the price Tangy, assertive and refreshing, this is perfect for sipping on the back deck on a warm spring day.
“Fruity nose of passion fruit, guava and kiwi fruit. Medium-bodied with a juicy, tropical palate and a bright, easy finish.”
-James Suckling
This is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc which is consistently produced in a fuller, riper, softer style that develops well. Clean, fresh and tropical, with fruit from several vineyards situated throughout Marlborough. Perfumed and lifted with passionfruit, blackcurrant and sweet herbs. Mandarin notes also. Juicy and mouth-filling with layers of fruit including gooseberry, blackcurrant and lemon, there is a line of minerality and a touch of capsicum also. Long bright and balanced.
From their diverse vineyards to your table, Babich wines offer a direct connection to New Zealand, the beautiful country they call home. The love of the craft. Doing things by hand. And caring for the land. They’re all ingredients of Babich’s slow, careful process in an ever-changing, always-on world. They wouldn’t have it any other way.
