Description
92 Points James Suckling
Ribera Del Duero is expensive, so we were more than a little surprised to come across this highly rated wine at this price. The Celeste is a great deal at its regular price, so at this price, it’s an absolute steal.
“Fresh and perfumed with dark-berry and chocolate aromas, as well as freshly cut flowers. Medium-bodied with fine, silky tannins and attractive berry and walnut undertones. Lightly silky and extremely drinkable.” – James Suckling
Celeste is an opulent wine brimming with fruit, body and colour: as unique as the night sky in the Ribera del Duero.
100% Tinto fino (Tempranillo)
Cherry red colour with garnet highlights. Delicious, voluptuous aroma of very ripe black fruit (blueberries) with finely roasted coffee and dried fruit (dried plum) notes. Dense, fleshy, with sensuous flavour sensations that are impressively persistent.
A legacy built through the efforts of five generations. Familia Torres founded its winery in Vilafranca del Penedès in 1870, 150 years ago, but its roots in the wine-growing traditions of Penedès date back to the 16th century.
