Description
Abruzzo is better known for their Montepulciano than Sangiovese but this is excellent. There’s a classic flavour profile but with it’s a richer, softer style than the typical Chianti and it’s very easy to love. It’s still Italian, so there’s plenty of acidity to keep this food friendly.
“A wine with excellent extractive qualities, there’s an enchanting sweetness on the palate, with a balance between tannins and acidity..very long finish…chewy black cherry shows off the ripe fruit.”-Luca Maroni
