Peak Cellars Gewürztraminer smells like ‘spring in a glass’ and abounds with aromas of crocuses, fresh clover, and spring blossoms. Also shining through are intense notes of Anjou pear, dragonfruit, lychee and the tropical sensation of a freshly opened bag of Haribo Gummy Bears. There is a savoury salinity, balanced nicely with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and macadamia nuts.
The palate is like a fruit explosion, rich with flavours of tropical fruits like lychee, banana, pink grapefruit, mandarin and pineapple and a gentle floral note. The palate is gentle, almost creamy, with a soft sensation of sugar and a long, rich finish.
