Description
Rose doesn’t get much better than this for under $12. This is very Provence-like in every way except the modest price point.
“Produced from equal amounts of Grenache and Syrah, this rosé is pretty on the nose with aromas of strawberry and soft orange citrus. Dry, medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with white nectarine, soft orange and red berry flavours. Easy to love and refreshing.”- Natalie MacLean
A pale rosé with aromas of pomegranate. Since 2011, Domaine de L’Ostal Rosé has been made from equal quantities of Grenache (50 %) and Syrah (50 %) grown on the coolest terroirs of the domaine and the Pays d’Oc region. Very pale, clear and delicate pink in hue.
To obtain its beautiful pale pink colour, the grapes are pressed immediately at low temperatures to reduce the extraction of phenolic and colour compounds.
The highly complex and delicate nose offers a subtle combination of rose petals and pomegranate. On the palate, the attack is supple, light and fresh. The finish offers a pleasant touch of freshness with fruity aromas and pomegranate notes.
