Description
95 points Decanter
Gerard Bertrand is best known for its wildly popular rose, but this Rhone-style blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre is also off the charts good. There’s phenomenal depth to this wine, and best of all, it’s wildly delicious.
“Fabulous smoky liquorice, molasses and tar contrast beautifully with lush bright fruit characters; enticing and persistent with a mouthwatering texture and a long, powerful finish.” – Decanter
Bright ruby. The nose is intense, dominated by aromas of spices and red fruits (strawberry). Silky and fine tannins underline a fruity freshness. Pair with lamb, game birds or ripened cheeses.
