Sourced from various regions in the Loire Valley, this is one of the best French Sauvignon Blancs we have tried for under $20. This is a wine with a ton of minerality, ripe fruit and crisp, but not overbearing, acidity. It’s a great example of why so many wine lovers prefer French Sauvignon Blanc to New Zealand.

Sauvignon Blanc is the ambassador and the main grape variety of the Loire Valley. De Fournier vineyards are planted on ‘clay and sand’ soils in the villages of Oisly, Couddes and Thenay in the heart of the Touraine. This Sauvignon Blanc delivers a great aromatic intensity with a loose fruity palate and a salivating acidity.
