Fine, abundant bubbles define the Cuvée Jean-Louis Brut; its bubbles are smaller than any other of Charles de Fere’s Sparkling Wines. Bright and fruity on the nose, this wine exudes aromas typical of Chenin Blanc –apples, apricots and a hint of honey. The palate holds an explosion of fine bubbles followed by a smooth, fruity finish.
A blend of all white grapes from the Loire Valley, Charentes, and PACA region (Provence-Alps-Côte d’Azur): Chenin Blanc (40%), Ugni Blanc (20%) and various other grapes that change each year.
The founder of Charles de Fère started business in the 1980s in Fère-en-Tardenois, to the North-West of Reims. He desired to make the best use of the knowledge inherited from 5 family generations of wine-growers. The constant care that goes into making each “cuvees” has made Charles de Fère a benchmark reference for Premium Mousseux.
