Ballard Lane Pinot Noir

The Ballard Lane wines are a reflection of the Millers, a Central Coast family who has farmed the area for five generations. Their proprietary knowledge of the climate and terroirs of the Central Coast art is reflected in the Ballard Lane wines.

Pinot Noir is often called the “heartbreak grape”. It can be sensitive to dramatic weather changes, fickle and unpredictable in the cellar. Yet, there’s a reason Pinot Noir is considered one of the world’s greatest wines – it’s a grape that demands consideration and thought, and oftentimes is the most interesting wine in the room, with complex flavours that develop over time. Ballard Lane Pinot Noir showcases classic aromas and flavours of cola, black cherries and vanilla, accented by savoury notes of mushroom and forest floor. Moderate tannins and a smooth texture round out the palate, resulting in a pleasurable wine that can easily be paired with food or simply enjoyed on its own.
